World Poker Tour

World Poker Tour is a sequence of poker events which was established for the world’s professional players. This tournament was launched by the producer of television, ‘Steven Lipscomb’ and now he is a CEO f the WPT Enterprises which is a firm that directs the World Poker Tour. This tournament was first appeared in the year 2002 and 2003 which culminates with the WPT contest in April in the year 2003 at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas at Nevada .

World Poker Tour was first broadcasted on the Tour Channel in America in the year 2003. This event made its system appearance in February 2004 along with a ‘ Battle of Champions’ tournament. This event is a gathering of poker tournaments such as Texas Holdem which was held worldwide mostly in the US .

This tournament soon became popular among the players and in various restricted casino poker rooms, American homes and on online. This World Poker Tour is sponsored by poker sites on the internet and various casinos. This event is sponsored by the actor Vince Van Patten and the winner of World Series of Poker, Mike Sexton.

Shana Hiatt, Courtney Friel, Sabina Gadecki etc were the host of this event in past few years. All the hosts have recorded the live telecast of the tournament and during the game worked together with the players.
