Poker plan is considered as a wide concept which is used in the game. There are various main strategy concepts used in the poker game and they are:-

The Fundamental Theorem of Poker

David Sklansky established this theorem which expresses that each time the player play the hand and if the player is able to see the cards of the other players then the player can win the game and each time the way of playing the cards of the other players is different and if the player is able to see the cards, then he will be the winner. This theorem of poker is the basis of various poker strategy subjects. For example, slow-playing and bluffing are some of the examples of misleading the other players and persuade them to play in a different way and the player gets an opportunity to see the cards.

Pot Odds and Poker Probabilities

The connection between the odds of appealing and pot odds is the most significant thoughts used in strategy of poker. Pot probability means the relation of the amount of the bet which is required to remain in the pot to the amount of the pot. In the game of poker, the probability of each hand is determined by calculating the ratio of hands of each type out of all hands.

Deception

Deception means the cheating done in the game with the aim to persuade the other players to act in a different way to see their hands. Bluffing is one example of deception which persuades the other players to collapse higher cards. Slow playing is also another type of deceptive poker game.

Position

Position is the order which indicates the seating of the players near the table and their strategic penalty. Usually, earlier the player’s position requires better hands to raise or bet as compared to the players in later position.

Motive to Raise

According to the strategic point of view, a chance to bet is considered as a raise. There are various reasons to raise in a poker game and they are:-

• To force out the other players when a player has the greatest hand
• To get a free card
• When a player has the greatest hand, raising allows the player to get more money in the pot.
• To bluff or semi-bluff
• To force out better hands when a illustrated hand bets
• When a player lifts with a vague hand, he obtains knowledge about the power of the hand of the other players when he is labeled.
