Official Poker Rules

Poker is a very easy game which is played with a standard punch of cards where the players arrange the cards in a sequence and hide them from others and some money is kept into a central pot which is given to that player who will win at the end or having the best grouping of cards. Many types of poker are played by many of the players. Texas Holdem, Five card stud, seven card stud, Omaha etc are some of the poker games which one can play in various casinos and online also. So, before starting any poker game one should know the rules for playing the game.

Official Poker Rules

One can follow some official poker rules such as:-

• All players play this game for their own entertainment and interest. Any kind of co-operation and partnership between the players is banned in the game.

• One cannot use abusive, foul or insulting language during playing the poker game. If one uses such language then that player is allowed to go out of the poker room. In this case, the hand is drop out and the bet which is made in order to win the pot is also lost. Decisions are exclusively made at the maturity of the house.

• The player can take a break for sometime by clicking the sit out button. If any player sits out for more than 15 minutes or missed two of the rounds of blinds then that player is removed from the table and the game ends for that player.

• Any chat which can manipulate the poker game or results into ending of the game is prohibited.

• The greatest problem faced by most of the players is being disconnected from the poker game while playing online. The reasons can be many such as crashing of the software client on the computer, interruption of internet connection and the technical problems faced by the poker site server. So, one can follow these official rules when the poker game is being disconnected such as:-

• While playing the poker game, if during the playing of a hand one has not placed a bet till that time, then the hand will automatically fold in 10 seconds.

• But if any player has already placed a bet and unable to connect within 30 seconds or 1 minute then that player is regarded as All-in and is allowed to remove from the table.

• If any player does not have enough poker chips to make a bet during a hand, then that player has two options – fold the hand and give up the interest in pot or put all the chips into the pot which is known as All-in. The poker game is then continued.

• There is some limitation for the player for calling the All-in in a 24-hour period.
